Since the early
1980s.
Built by hand.
Bugatti. Alfa Romeo. Mercedes SSK.
From original drawings from Molsheim, Milan and Stuttgart.
The drawing
comes first.
Just as Leonardo da Vinci drew his mechanisms before he built them, every Pur Sang car begins with the drawing — the original drawings from Molsheim and Milan. Accurate to the millimetre. Documented. Verified against surviving cars.
No step begins without sign-off. No part without provenance. This is not reproduction — it is reconstruction to a scientific standard.

Jorge Anadón founded the atelier in Paraná in the early 1980s. What began as a restoration workshop is today one of the few ateliers in the world that builds historic Grand Prix cars entirely in-house.
Engine blocks come from the in-house foundry. Bodies are shaped from aluminium sheet on the English wheel. Nothing is bought in that need not be.

I
Design
Every car begins with the original drawings from Molsheim or Milan. Dimensions are verified against surviving cars, tolerances documented. No step begins without sign-off.

II
Foundry
Engine blocks are cast in the atelier's own foundry in Paraná. The raw material is analysed and tested in-house. No bought-in castings — this sets Pur Sang apart from almost every other atelier in the world.

III
Bodywork
Aluminium sheet is shaped by hand on the English wheel. No press tools, no CNC-milled shells. Every surface is the result of mechanical skill — visible and verifiable.

IV
Drivetrain
Engine, gearbox and chassis are assembled and set up entirely in-house. Test-bench running before delivery: documented and traceable.

V
Completion
Paint, interior, final inspection. Every car leaves Paraná with complete documentation and is race-ready from day one.

Owners of original Type 35s and Alfa 8Cs use a Pur Sang to actually drive and race — while the original stays in the garage.
A Pur Sang costs around one fifth of the original. Top Gear has documented the atelier. Bonhams, Pananti and Fantasy Junction offer Pur Sang cars.
